Update from September 3rd:
The PUBG Hot Drop Event was a resounding success! Krafton’s gamescom event for the community and PUBG influencers featured a photo booth, a loot arena, and various stage events. Attendees on-site enjoyed multiple trivia quizzes and competitions between PUBG partners and devs/community managers. While most participants were from Germany, there was also a fan base from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
The event was accompanied by live recordings. We highly recommend checking out a compilation, which you can find as a story on Instagram. A total of €3,772.01 was raised, which was donated to Gaming Aid on August 27th.
Message from August 12, 2024:
It won’t just be heating up at the gamescom 2024 convention center. The official community meetup for PUBG: Battlegrounds is already sold out, and the organizers have announced that 100% of the ticket sales will benefit our organization. The 500 participants can look forward to snacks and drinks, tons of chances to win PUBG merch, and a few special guests.
We’re absolutely thrilled about this fantastic idea and wish all the attendees a great time.
