The hardware we donated was once again put to great use at the “Game Jury” workshop.

From 18 to 22 October, the LAG Jugend & Film Niedersachsen e.V. was able to implement the “Game Jury” project in Ankum and Bersenbrück. Gaming Aid helped with the equipment.

Young people from the region tested games together for a week. The event took place at the invitation of the library in the Bersenbrück Media Forum and in cooperation with the joint municipality of Bersenbrück (and the local youth welfare service), the August Benninghaus school in Ankum and the H40 youth centre. Participants were able to try out different games, discuss them and rate them at the end. The outcome of the workshop should be their own test videos.

In the end, the young participants produced a total of four test videos on games such as “Super Mario Odyssey”, “Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle” and “Horizon Zero Dawn”. And of course there was no shortage of games during the workshop, not only digital but also analogue, with movement games and extensive table football games providing the necessary variety and physical activity.
