As every year, we are delighted to present the special jury prize at the German Developer Award. The event took place on 8 December 2022 in Cologne.
This year, Antura and the Letters from the Cologne Game Lab (TH Köln) / Video Games Without Borders was selected as the winner of the Special Award for Social Commitment. The project aims to help children who do not have the opportunity to go to school to read in their mother tongue and learn foreign languages through play. Everyone can take part: The app for Google Play and the iTunes App Store is free.
As well as honouring outstanding games from the German-speaking world, the German Developer Award is also a meet and greet for the big names in the German industry.
