The non-profit organisation Gaming Aid e.V. receives generous support from Razer, the world’s leading lifestyle brand for gamers, in the form of auction proceeds, which will be donated to the children’s hospice “Berliner Herz”, which is part of the Humanist Association Germany.

In autumn, Razer launched a wide range of online auctions on eBay, in which the gaming hardware specialist auctioned off many of its products for a good cause. The hardware manufacturer wants to donate the profits from the auctions to us. In consultation with Razer, we have already decided to pass the money on directly to the HVD (Humanist Association Germany). The HVD runs a number of social facilities and helps people in a wide variety of situations, whether by running day-care centres, social welfare centres, end-of-life care or looking after relatives, for example at the “Berliner Herz” children’s hospice.

Christiane Gehrke, Vice Chairwoman of Gaming Aid: “All of us at Gaming Aid are delighted with this campaign and would like to thank everyone involved at Razer. The work of the children’s hospice is one of the most difficult and at the same time most important tasks in our society and we are infinitely grateful to be able to support the people there together with Razer.”

“Gaming brings people together: Solidarity and cohesion are especially important in the current coronavirus situation,” said Marco Chillon, General Manager at Razer Europe. With our donation, we want to do something good together with the gaming community and Gaming Aid e.V. and use the proceeds to support the “Berliner Herz” children’s hospice during this difficult phase.”

The entire Gaming Aid team would like to thank Razer for their support and ask that the campaign is publicised as widely as possible, not only to raise as much money as possible for a good cause through the auctions, but also to raise awareness of the importance of aid organisations, especially in times of Corona, such as the HVD and the work they do.
